About this place
West Mancos Trailhead is a year-round trailhead for summer and winter activities. It serves the Muleshoe Loop #176 Trail as well as over-snow motorized and non-motorized uses. From Mancos, drive north on State Highway 184 for 0.25 miles to the junction with County Road 42 (West Mancos Rd). Turn right (east) on 42 and proceed 5.5 miles to where the road becomes NFSR 561. There is parking area and turn-around.
