About this place
Echo Basin Trailhead is available year-round but primarily serves as a winter trailhead for over-snow motorized and non-motorized activies. A parking area/turn-around is available. From Mancos, travel 2.5 miles east on US Highway 160 to the junction with County Road 44 Echo Basin. Turn left (north) on 44 and proceed 3.6 miles before coming to the trailhead parking area. The road becomes NFSR #566 at the cattleguard.
