Sheltowee Trace Stanton Trailhead is located off KY 715 along the Red Wild and Scenic River. The trailhead provides access to the Sheltowee Trace National Recreation Trail #100 and the iconic suspension bridge over the Red River via the Sheltowee Connector Trail #211. The site has designated parking, visitor information, trash collection and a picnic table. From Slade, travel west on KY 15 for 1.4 miles to KY 77 on the right. Follow KY 77 for 5 miles to the 77/715 junction. Continue on KY 715 for 1.5 miles to the gravel road on the right.
