About this place

Bison Way Trailhead is located near Gladie Visitor Center off KY 715 in the Red River Gorge. The trailhead provides access to Sheltowee Trace National Recreation Trail #100 via Bison Way Trail #210. The site has designated parking, visitor information, trash collection and a picnic table. Traveling east on the Mountain Parkway, take exit 33 at Slade. Turn left and then left again onto KY 15. Go approximately 1.4 miles and turn right on KY 77. Follow 77 through the Nada Tunnel, across the Red River and to KY 715. Follow 715 approximately 3.5 miles to a parking area located to the left just before the two-lane bridge that crosses Gladie Creek.
