About this place

This small, circular trailhead is located way up in the Kettle River Mountains in a nicely treed and partly open setting. The trailhead is open to dispersed camping and includes an outhouse for user convenience. Great views of the Okanogan Highlands are available to the west and south. This trailhead provides quick access to the Kettle Crest National Recreation Trail and the reservable Snow Peak Cabin. From Republic, WA, take Highway 20 east for 6.9 miles. Turn right onto Hall Creek Road and continue for approximately 3.3 miles. Turn left onto Forest Road 2050-100 and continue for 4.6 miles until you reach the trailhead.
