Nice mid-elevation trailhead that includes two campsites with tables, rock fire rings, and an outhouse. There are several parking areas and plenty of space for truck/horse trailer combinations. This low use trailhead accesses the Kettle Crest National Recreation Trail, which is part of the Pacific Northwest National Scenic Trail. A loop trail option is available utilizing the Kettle Crest #13N trail, Snow Peak #10 trail, Nicks Loop Cutoff Trail #11, and the section of forest road 2053100 from Snow Peak Trailhead to Nicks Loop cutoff trail. Good trail for hiking, mountain biking, and horse riding with great wildflowers and views that extend west to the Cascades and north to the mountains of southern British Columbia, Canada. From Republic, WA, take Highway 20 east for 6.9 miles. Turn right onto Hall Creek Road (County Road 99) and continue for 4.3 miles. Turn left onto Edds Mountain Road (Forest Road 2050300) and continue for 1.5 miles until you reach the trailhead at the end of the road.
