About this place

This small trailhead is located at the end of the road and provides parking for several vehicles and truck-trailer combinations. The trailhead is located in a nicely tree area with three semi-developed camp sites. There is a hitching rail for horse users and the Bear Pot trail provides quick access to the Thirteen mile Inventoried Roadless Area and the Thirteen mile Trail. A small pond is adjacent to the trailhead and the remains of an historic cabin is located a short distance down the trail. From Republic, WA, take Highway 20 east for 6.9 miles. Turn right onto Hall Creek Road (Forest Road 2050) and continue for 5.3 miles. Turn right onto Forest Road 2053 and continue for 2.7 miles. Turn left onto Forest Road 2054 and continue for 0.6 miles. Turn left onto Forest Road 2055 and continue for 3.5 miles until you reach the trailhead.
