About this place
This very small trailhead is located at the end of the road and provides parking for just a few vehicles. The parking area is well-shaded and located in a dense pine/fir forest. The trailhead, and Sherman Trail #12, provides quick access to the Kettle Crest National Recreation Trail. From Republic, WA, take Highway 20 east for 12.2 miles. Turn left onto Karamip Road (Forest Road 2040) and continue for 3.7 miles. Turn right onto Forest Road 2040-065 and continue for 2 miles until you reach the trailhead.
