Ryan's Cabin trail #30 is a 1.6 mile trail that ties into kettle Crest 13 from the Ryan cabin trailhead after gaining 1200' in elevation. This area was burnt over in the 2015 Stickpin fire. Not much is known about Ryan except that he was a trapper who's cabin could still be seen from the trail until the 2015 fire. This area was logged 30 years ago for Mountain Pine Beetle Control. The trailhead for Ryan Cabin has several camp sites available with tables and fire pits. From Kettle Falls, follow U.S Highway 395 West to State Route 20. Turn left towards Sherman Pass. Continue on State Route 20 for 22 miles. Turn North on Albian Hill Road 2030and travel 22.1 miles to road 2030-910. Turn right into the trailhead parking area.
