About this place

This end-of-the-road trailhead is located in a grassy meadow area surrounded by trees. No services are available, but there is plenty of space for dispersed camping. The Leona Trail and Leona Loop Trail were impacted by the 2015 Stickpin Fire and the trail can be very difficult to locate. From Republic, WA, head east on Highway 20 for 2.6 miles. Turn left onto Highway 21 and continue for 12.4 miles until you reach Malo, WA. Turn right onto St. Peters Creek Road (County Road 584/Forest Road 2157) and continue for 9 miles until you reach the trailhead, which will be on your left.
