This shaded horse camp is located across the road from the Midnight Ridge/Old Stage Trailhead which offers a great horseback, hiking, or mountain biking loop opportunity. The 6-unit campground offers parking spurs, picnic tables, rock fire rings, creek access for watering stock, and an outhouse. The area is fenced with cattleguards to keep cattle out. There is a 6-foot bypass gate adjacent to the entrance road cattleguard to allow stock users access to the trail system. There are currently no corrals, highlines, or hitching rails at this campground. From Republic, WA, travel east on Highway 20 for 2.6 miles. Turn left onto Highway 21 and continue for 9 miles. Turn right onto Lambert Creek Road (CR 546/Forest Road 2156) and continue for 7 miles. The campground will be on your right. This campground has a one-way traffic pattern. Please use the second entrance.
