Sharkstooth Trailhead is high up in the spruce-fir country situated at the base of Sharkstooth Peak. It provides access to the east end of the West Mancos #621 Trail and the west end of Sharkstooth Trail #620. Trail uses are strictly non-motorized opportunities. A parking area is available. From Mancos, CO: Travel 1/4 mile north on Highway 184, then turn right on West Mancos Road (Forest Road 561). Travel 12 miles to the junction with NFSR 350 and turn right (east).Proceed 6.5 miles to the junction with NFSR 346 and turn right (south). Continue 1.5 miles to the trailhead.
