About this place

Use the Petites Gap A.T. Trailhead to access #1 A.T. and #3004 Glenwood Horse along #35 Petities Gap Road between Thunder Ridge Wilderness and James River Face Wilderness. There is room for approximately 6 vehicles in the gravel parking lot. From US 130E, turn south onto SR 759 (Arnolds' Valley Road) and continue until a 3 way intersection at the Glenwood Church. Turn left onto SR 781 (Petites Gap Road) and continue to the end of state maintenance. Continue straight on FR #35 (Petites Gap Road), the trailhead is approximatley 3.5 miles from the end of the state-maintained portion of Petites Gap Road. There is room for 6 vehicles.
