About this place

This is a pull-through parking lot adjacent to Hunting Creek Road. The Glenwood Horse Trail is located on the road, in this section. The parking lot is relatively small, but can accommodate 2-3 horse trailers. Within the parking area, park to the right-hand-side of the loop and travel on the left-hand side. The site includes a small bulletin board with area information. Glenwood Horse Trail is immediately out of the parking lot, going both southwest and north east along the Hunting Creek Road. From Bedford: Take State Route 122 north to State Rout 602. After 0.5 miles, State Route 602 turns left. Continue on State Route 602 for another 3.4 miles. Parking is on the left. From Roanoke, Va: Take State Route 122 to State Route 602. After 0.5 miles, State Route 602 turns left. Continue on State Route 602 for another 3.4 miles. Parking is on the left.
