About this place
Popular trailhead for those with stock, there are several hitch posts available at the campsites adjacent to the trailhead. Access to Hard Creek Lake, and Upper Hazard Lake. Vault restroom, fire rings and some tables are also available. This trailhead is about an hour from McCall. To reach the trailhead, take Highway 55 west out of McCall for four miles. Turn right onto the Goose Lake Road (tiol Forest Road 257) for about 19 miles.
