About this place
This trailhead is on the Bumping River Road just downstream of Cougar Flat Campground. It provides access to the north side of the William O. Douglass Wilderness via the Goat Creek Trail #959 and climbs up to the American Ridge. From Naches head west on Highway 12 for 4 miles. Continue west on Highway 410 for 28 miles. Turn left onto Bumping River Road and drive 5.8 miles to destination on the right.
