About this place
This trailhead off the Bumping River Road accesses two trails entering the William O. Douglas Wilderness, Nile Ridge #974 and Richmond Mine #973. From Naches, take Highway 12 for 4 miles and continue on WA-410 West for 27.9 miles. Turn left on to the Bumping River Road and drive for 9.7 miles. Just after a bridge over the Bumping River will be the 1800-635 Road. Turn left and drive a short distance to the trailhead at the end of the road.
