This trailhead accesses the northeast side of the William O. Douglass Wilderness via the Clover Springs Trail #697. From Naches, WA, travel west on Highway 12 W for 4.4 miles. Continue straight onto Highway 410 W for 7.9 miles. Turn left onto Nile Road and go 3.2 miles. Take Forest Road 1600 17.9 miles to its end at the trailhead.
