About this place
The Warnock Trailhead is located on Summit Ridge along the western edge of the Hells Canyon Wilderness area. This site provides access to Temperance Creek trail #1778 which enters Hells Canyon Wilderness. The trailhead is also the main entrance to Lord Flat and the Summit Ridge-Western Rim National Recreation Trail. This remote site is popular with summer hikers, OHV riders, and in the late summer and fall, with big game hunters. A fee is charged.
