Call the Methow Valley Ranger Station for current conditions for the access to this trailhead -- frequent washouts may block access. Provides access to War Creek Trail #408 within the Lake Chelan-Sawtooth Wilderness. Trail enters Lake Chelan National Recreation Area. This trail enters the Lake Chelan National Recreation Area (North Cascades National Park Complex) at War Creek Pass. A fee is charged.
