About this place
Best known as the route for climbing Vesper Peak, this challenging trail boasts spectacular views. A fee is charged. From the Verlot Public Service Center (11 miles east of Granite Falls, WA), travel east on the Mt. Loop Highway 17.1 miles. Turn right (south) on the Sunrise Mine Road (Forest Service road 4065) and continue 2.2 miles to the trailhead at the end.
