About this place
This beautiful area where you might experience the song of a Hermit Thrush or see shade tolerant wildflowers on the forest floor. This trail is a moderately difficult trail due;mainly to its length and changes in grade. The trail winds down into the Gorge and along the river with waterfalls along the way. Access from Sidnaw, Mi. , take M-28 east, turn left on FR 2200 travel approximately 11 miles north;and veer left on FR 2270, on the east edge of the Sturgeon River Gorge Wilderness.
