Bears Den Trailhead is located on the Northeast side of the Sturgeon River Gorge Wilderness. Experience this 0.3-mile out-and-back trail. Generally considered an easy route, it takes an average of 6 minutes to complete. This trail is great for birding and walking, and it's unlikely you'll encounter many other people while exploring. It features a beautiful view during the fall color peak. From M-28 turn North jsut east of Sidnaw, MI onto Forest Service Rd 2200. Travel on Forest Service Rd about 12.5 miles. Destination will be on the left.
