This trailhead provides access to the Smithbrook Trail #1590 which is a short spur that connects to the Pacific Crest Trail #2000 within the Henry M. Jackson Wilderness. This trailhead is not recommended for stock trucks or stock trailers. The Pacific Crest - Stevens Pass North Trailhead provides better parking for stock users accessing the Pacific Crest Trail #2000. From Leavenworth, WA, take US-2 West for 31 miles. Then turn right on Smithbrook Road/Forest Road 6700 and travel 3 miles to the trailhead.
