About this place
Roaring Fork Trailhead is year-round accessible but primarily used for winter activities. It has a small parking area that also functions as the turn-around for snow plowing. The Rough Canyon #435 Trail allows single-track motorized uses and is about 1 mile south of the trailhead off of Roaring Fork road. From Dolores: Travel 28 miles north on Highway 145. Trailhead turn is on the right on FR #435 over the bridge crossing the Dolores River.
