Rattlesnake and Terrapin are the two gravel parking lots available to riders accessing the South Pedlar ATV Trail System. The two parking lots are located less than two miles apart, both along Virginia State Route 130. The South Pedler ATV Trail system is a looping network of 19 miles specifically designed for a recreational ATV rider. Advanced riders will find challenges in the narrow and twisting trails, while others will find trails that are wide and inviting. Visitors to the area enjoy panoramic vistas, spectacular mountain laurel blooms in season, and relief from the hot summer sun under the shady forest canopy. A fee is charged.
