Trailhead on National Forest land. From I-90, take Exit 62 and drive southwest on Kachess Lake Road (FS 54) toward Crystal Springs/Stampede Pass. Travel 1.5 miles, then turn right on FS 5480. Follow the FS 5480 approximately 12 miles to your destination. The site entrance is on the left.
