About this place
The Longbow Archery Trail is a gem among the Wayne National Forest. Created with the help of community partners, this trail provides a unique experience for archery enthusiasts to hone their archery skills at the Lake Vesuvius Recreation Area. From Ironton, Ohio, take State Route 93 north 6.5 miles. Turn on County Road 29 and follow the signs to the Lake Vesuvius Recreation Area (1 mile). Once at the recreation area, take first road to the left (at the Lake Vesuvius Sign) and go 1/2 mile and the Longbow Archery Accessible Trailhead will be on your left a couple hundred feet pass the Longbow Archery Trailhead.
