About this place
Iron Mountain provides habitat for more than 300 species of flowering plants, which share their beauty throughout the summer season. It is a short 0.8 miles steep hike from this trailhead to the viewing platform. A fee is charged. Approximately 32 miles east of Sweet Home, OR, turn left off Hwy 20 onto Civil Rd (Forest Service Road 035) and travel 2.6 miles to the trailhead.
