Trailhead on National Forest land. Head South from Girdwood, AK via the Seward Highway. At milepost 78.9, make a left turn onto take Portage Glacier Road. Continue for 1.3 miles and enter Moose Flats Day Use Area on your left. Within this site, you will find the trailhead for INHT: Trail of Blue Ice.
