About this place
This trailhead provides seasonal summer access to Trail #1149, a motorized double track. This is a popular ATV and motorcycle route in summer. Access requires AWD or 4WD vehicle, as road conditions are rough. Directions from Steamboat Springs: Go west on US Hwy 40 to County Road 129, turn north on 129. Turn right on to FS 550 rd after Columbine. Turn right on 500, then right on 500.1D to the end of the road.
