Columbine Winter Parking and Winter Recreation Area MapNorth Routt County Winter Recreation Trails MapWinter multi-use parking located in North Routt County Area with an emphasis for non-motorized users and a recommendation for no trailer parking. The lot will be plowed, no fee will be charged. Please stay on the trail when traveling through private property. Camping is prohibited. The trailhead is managed by the Hahns Peak/Bears Ears Ranger District.Parking at Elkhorn South is encouraged for access to groomed snowmobile trail 550 and 500 is encouraged. Directions from Steamboat Springs, Colorado: Go west on US Hwy 40 to County Road 129. Parking area is at the junction of 129 and 550 roads.
