Provides access to the east end of Crofton Butte Trail #73, which crosses a southern portion of Mt. Adams Wilderness. A wilderness permit is required when entering Mt. Adams Wilderness. Permits are free and self-issued at the trailhead. Motorized and mechanized uses are prohibited in wilderness areas. Parking area for 5 vehicles.
