The trailhead serves as a popular portal access the North Absaroka Wilderness. Large area for parking trailers. Food storage is required. From Cody, take U.S. Highway 14/16/20 west for 32 miles, of which the trailhead is north of the highway. (The trailhead is about 21 miles from East Entrance of Yellowstone National Park)
