About this place
Rowdy and Clear Lakes is a primitive trailhead. Pristine fishing and hiking opportunities are available. A high clearance 4 wheel drive vehicle is required to reach the trailhead. A vault toilet is available at the trailhead. From Montrose, CO drive east on U.S. Highway 50 to County Road 858/Cimarron Rd. Turn south on County Road 858/Cimarron Rd. and travel approximately 19 miles south, past Silver Jack Campground, and turn left at the Rowdy Lake sign. Go approximately 1 mile up rough road to trailhead.
