About this place
Beaver Lake Fishing Site is very popular, both for lake fishing and stream fishing along Fox Creek, which is a short walk west of the lake. A hiking trail provides access all the way around this small lake. A fee is charged. From Montrose, CO, drive east on US Highway 50 to County Road 858/Cimarron Road. Turn south on County Road 858/Cimarron Road and travel approximately 15 miles south to the Beaver Lake Campground sign. Turn right into campground and park in the parking area near the lake.
