About this place

From this trailhead, hike 3 miles up Burnt Fork Pinnacle Tr. No. 418 to the summit and enjoy the expansive view of the Ninemile Valley. Or continue past the summit to connect to the Reservation Divide Tr. No. 98, which continues east to Josephine Peak or west to near Siegel Pass. Trailhead has parking for several vehicles along the well-maintained Foothills Rd. No. 5498. From I-90 exit 82, travel northwest on the frontage road 2 miles to Remount Road and turn right. In 2.5 miles, turn left on Ninemile Road, keeping the ranger station on your right. In 12 miles, turn right on Foothills Rd. No. 5498 continue another 5 miles to Burnt Fork Trail. Parking is on the left, trail starts on the right just past the parking area.
