About this place
This trailhead provides access to the Bowman Trail, a major entrance point for hikers and horses into the Eagle Cap Wilderness. The trailhead has a stock ramp, hitch rails, picnic area, and vault toilet facilities. A fee is charged. From Enterprise, Oregon travel northwest on State Highway 82 to Lostine; In Lostine go 7 miles south on the Lostine River Road to Forest boundary; Lostine River Road turns into Forest Road 8210; Travel on Forest Road 8210 up the Lostine Canyon; Travel 7.5 miles to trailhead on left side of road. The forest roads are gravel surface.
