The Irondyke Forest Camp is a small, rustic facility with five campsites along the Wild and Scenic Lostine River. Situated near the river in the cool pine and fir trees, the site is popular for summer and fall campers enjoying Hells Canyon or adjacent Eagle Cap Wilderness. Site 1 can accommodate trailers but other sites not recommended for long or low-clearance vehicles. A fee is charged. From Enterprise, Oregon travel west on Highway 82 for 10 miles to Lostine, Oregon; In Lostine turn left at Lostine River Road and go 7 miles; The Lostine River Road turns into Forest Road 8210 at Forest Boundary; Continue 7.5 miles on Forest Road 8210 to Forest Camp entrance on right side of road.
