Boggy Draw Trailhead is used for multiple recreation users. In the summer season it is used by hikers, mountain bicyclists and OHV's. It also serves as a winter trailhead used by snowmoblies and cross-country skiers. Boggy #199, Boggy Lower Loop #195 and Maverick #197 trails get their start here and are part of the larger Boggy Draw trail system. Ample parking and a double vault barrier-free toilet is available. From Dolores on State Highway 145, turn left (north) onto 11th Street/County 31. Continue north and head up hill on County Road 31. Travel north for 2.1 miles to the junction with County Road W. Turn right (east) and travel for about 1 mile to where the road turns into NFSR 527 at the forest boundary where the trailhead is located.
