About this place
Mary E Fishing Site is a small, primitive parking area, located at the entrance to Mary E Campground. This site provides angler access to the nearby San Miguel River. The site opens to the public in late June, following the annual Telluride Bluegrass Festival. From Telluride, CO, travel approximately 6 miles west on Highway 145 towards Placerville. Turn left on County Road 63L (Ilium Road) and drive 1.4 miles to the Mary E Campground. Enter the campground and park in the small parking area next to the kiosk. The San Miguel River is best accessed by walking through the campground to the end of the road.
