A unique interpretive trail "The White Pine Speaks" is adjacent to the picnic area and is a short walk (1,000 ft) among the large majestic white pines that provide the overstory for this location. This trailhead area is 28 miles north of Two Harbors or 18 miles south on Highway 2 from the junction of Highways 1 and 2.
