About this place

The trail meanders through older Douglas-Fir and Western Hemlock; as you gain elevation it wanders through older Noble fir. There are abundant wildflowers along rocky openings by the upper portions of trail in early summer along with views of the Cascades. Triangulation Trail intersects Triangulation Peak Trail #3374, which offers a vista of the Cascade mountain range. The surrounding network of trails offers potential shuttle hikes: Triangulation Trail intersects Cheat Creek Trail #3441. Hiking southwest along #3441 will provide a means for a shuttle. On Triangulation Trail, Crag Trail #3364 intersects Triangulation heading north, creating another option for a shuttle. Whitewater Trail #3429, intersects Triangulation and provides a means for a shuttle.
