Trail and bridge damage are still limiting full length hiking in 2015. The Upper Tie Hack Trailhead is on Forest Road 225. This trailhead is easily accessible from the Snowy Range Scenic Byway. This trail is managed by the Brush/Creek Hayden Ranger District and is located in the Snowy Range. From Saratoga, WY take Hwy 130 east 23 miles to Forest Road 225. Turn right onto Road 225 and continue approximately 4 miles to the small trailhead parking area.
