About this place
Open year-round, provides access to the 7.8 miles long Thomas Creek Trail which takes you into the Mt. Rose Wilderness. From Reno at I-580 and Mt Rose Highway (SR-431), head west on SR-431 for approximately 4.5 miles. Turn right onto N. Timberline Drive and travel approx. 1.3 miles . Trailhead will be on your left.
