About this place
This is the trailhead for the Taylor Dunes Trail #1335. The trail's first half-mile is accessible with two view decks and a bench with great vistas of the lake and its many birds and aquatic animals, sand dunes, marsh-like deflation plains, and the ocean. A fee is charged. From Florence, Oregon drive south 7.5 miles on Highway 101. Trailhead is located on west side of Highway 101. There is a sign at the entrance.
