About this place
This trailhead offers easy access into the Thousand Lakes wilderness. The Tamarack Trail is an easy climb of approximately 3.5 miles to beautiful Lake Eiler and an easy loop through the lower lakes. Turn onto FS road 33N25 which is approx. 7 miles north of Old Station. Stay on 33N25 for 8.25 miles until you reach 33N25D. Trail head is at the end of 33N25D
