This small parking area just off FR 17 provides access to the Sumac Creek equestrian trail, and can accommodate 5-6 vehicles, or three trucks with trailers. There are no amenities at this site. From Chatsworth, take Hwy 411 North 13.5 miles to Old Hwy 2. Turn right onto Old Hwy 2 and continue 3.2 miles to West Cowpen Road. Turn right onto West Cowpen and travel 2.1 miles. Trailhead will be on your right.
