About this place

This popular trailhead has parking for 40 cars, vault toilets and corrals and hitching areas for stock. This trail is a popular stock destination so please don't park passenger vehicles in the signed stock trailer parking. If backpacking from this trailhead please familiarize yourself with seasonal and year round fire restrictions in this watershed. If parking lot is full, please park fully off the roadway to allow passage of full sized fire engines to avoid a citation. Don't block the gate. From Weaverville, take Hwy 3 north for 13 miles. Cross over the Stuart Fork Bridge. Turn left onto Trinity Alps Resort Road. Pass the resort. The next two miles is on a dirt road. The road ends at the trailhead.
