The trailhead is located adjacent to County Road #601 at the top of Stemple Pass. This facility provides access to cross-country ski trails and the Continental Divide National Scenic Trail. This trailhead is located about 12 miles southeast of Lincoln on County Road #601. Access to the Stemple Pass road is provided off Highway #279 and also south from the community of Lincoln.
